About SkinLattice

SkinLattice is a personal skin-tracking application operated by SkinLattice (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By downloading or using the SkinLattice iOS application (“App”), you agree to these Terms of Use (“Terms”).

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not download or use the App.

Not medical advice

SkinLattice is a personal tracking and pattern-recognition tool, not a medical device. The App does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition, including skin conditions. Patterns or correlations shown in the App are derived from your own logged data and reflect statistical associations only — not clinical findings.

Nothing in the App should be interpreted as medical advice. Always consult a qualified dermatologist or healthcare provider before making changes to your skincare routine, medications, or treatment plan.

User responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• The accuracy of the data you log into the App (check-ins, products, ingredients, lifestyle context).
• Keeping your device and App secure and not sharing access with others.
• Maintaining backups of your data if desired. We are not responsible for data loss due to device failure, App deletion, or user error.
• Using the App only for lawful personal purposes in accordance with these Terms.

Subscriptions and billing

SkinLattice offers an optional Pro subscription that unlocks additional features including the full Ingredient Matrix, shelf analysis, and unlimited history. Current pricing is $5.99 USD/month or $34.99 USD/year, subject to Apple pricing changes.

All subscriptions are processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings.

We do not process payment information directly. Apple's terms and policies govern all purchases. Refund requests must be directed to Apple.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the App's source code.
• Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
• Attempt to interfere with the App's operation or security.
• Misrepresent the App's functionality or our relationship in any public communications.

Intellectual property

All content, design, code, trademarks, and other materials in the App are owned by or licensed to SkinLattice. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You retain ownership of the data you enter into the App. By using the App, you do not grant us any license to your personal data beyond what is necessary to operate the App as described in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of security vulnerabilities.

Ingredient correlations and patterns shown in the App are statistical observations derived from your logged data. They are not clinical conclusions and may be affected by incomplete data, confounding factors, or natural skin variation.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SkinLattice shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the App. Our total liability for any claims relating to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. Termination does not affect any provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including disclaimers and limitations of liability.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by updating this page and the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
